UCLA

UCLA is yet another great college in California. UCLA stands for the University of California Los Angeles. UCLA's mascot is the Bruins, which looks similar to a gopher or a beaver. The school colors are a shade lighter blue than Clear Creek Amana's, and a dandelion yellow.

The college is very large and has some really amazing features one of which there are two major building and they aren't too far from each other. That would be useful especially if you're a freshman and you don't have enough time to go from one class to the next.

Another great thing of UCLA is that it is in the Los Angles area so there will always be something to do like either go to the beach (many to choose from), go shopping in the various malls in California, or go on a run through the Hollywood trail that's not too far from there.

You can find UCLA clothing basically anywhere. I remembered I went to Chicago the summer before last, and I saw a UCLA tee in a Topshop store. Unfortunately I didn't purchase it because just the tee shirt was $50, and I wasn't about to spend that much money on a shirt.

I strongly encourage anyone to just take a look at pictures of UCLA and if you're deciding on what colleges to look at or to go to, I highly recommend UCLA. Not because it's largely known, but because it is a wonderful college all together.. Also this university is known for their art program whether it's performing arts, movie/ television arts, etc. Some famous people who have gone there are Jackie Robinson, Ben Stiller, James Dean, and many more. On top of that, the school is located in California and if you like warm weather or love a fast pace environment, I highly recommend UCLA.
